NFL Survival Pool – Official Rules

  1. 1.Entry Fees

Entry fees must be received before the start of the applicable pool. Entries are not considered active until payment has been received.

The entry fee is established for the applicable pool. Multiple entries are allowed and encouraged.

Each entry is completely independent if participant has multiple entries.

  2. 2.Weekly Picks

Weekly picks must be submitted through the official Annual NFL Survival Pool platform using your Personal Dashboard (personalized secure link).

Picks lock at the scheduled kickoff of the selected team’s game.

You may change your pick as many times as you wish before it locks. The most recent valid submission received before kickoff becomes your official selection.

A weekly email will be sent that will also contain a link to your Personal Dashboard to submit or update your picks.

  3. 3.Default Picks

If no valid pick has been submitted by 3:45 PM Eastern Time on Sunday, the system will automatically assign the highest-ranked available team from the Default Pick List whose game has not yet started.

The Default Pick Order is established before the season begins and is used only when a participant’s valid pick has not been submitted.

  4. 4.Eliminations

If your selected team loses or ties, that entry is immediately eliminated.

  5. 5.All Remaining Entries Lose

If every remaining active entry loses during the same week, all remaining entries will be declared co-winners and the prize pool will be divided equally.

  6. 6.End of Season

If more than one active entry remains after the conclusion of Week 18, all remaining entries will be declared co-winners and the prize pool will be divided equally.

  7. 7.Entry Names

By default, entries are identified using the participant’s first name, first initial of the last name, and an entry number when multiple entries are submitted.

Participants may enter custom entry names during registration. The commissioner reserves the right to modify or reject duplicate or inappropriate names. Please consider this a family pool for entry nickname purposes.

  8. 8.Commissioner Compensation

The league commissioner receives two complimentary entries for each pool plus 5% of the total entry fees to help cover website hosting, software development, administration, coordination, and a variety of other highly technical responsibilities that sound much more impressive than they probably are.

Any additional commissioner entries will be paid at the standard entry fee.

  9. 9.Official NFL Results

All pool outcomes are determined using the official results published by the NFL.

If the NFL later changes the official outcome of a game, the pool will be updated accordingly.

  10. 10.Commissioner Decisions

The commissioner will make every reasonable effort to administer the pool fairly and consistently.

In the event an unusual situation arises that is not specifically addressed by these rules, the commissioner’s decision will be final.
